Upon arriving to our amazing hostel in Bangkok last night, D. and I immediately found ourselves getting drunk with other travelers and ended up passing out around 5am. When we woke up we checked the time and it said 5pm. An immediate freak out ensues because we were supposed to wake up at 8am to go to D.'s first dental appointment. How on earth could we have passed out for 12 hours?!?!?! I mean, we were pretty wasted but 12 HOURS???
We figured out minutes later that my iPod failed reset to the Bangkok time zone last night and still had California time on display. It was actually 7am.
We laughed at our stupidity for about 15 minutes straight.
It is sunny and hot as balls outside. The receptionist tells us this is the first day in weeks it hasn't been pouring rain. Guess we brought the sunshine with us =) Here's hoping it holds out for the next week or so!
